Some WONDERFUL News! *updated!

My best friend in the entire world is in labor!  Her water broke last night, so I'm guessing she's at about 12 hours now.  Say some prayers/send some good vibes/whatever it is that you do that all goes well!  I can't wait to meet baby girl!!! Oh this is so exciting!

Update:  Well now it's about midnight on 12/10 and she's being taken back for a c-section.  The baby's breach/breech (not sure how to spell it) but basically that means "feet first"... so please say some extra prayers that everything goes okay!  I know she didn't want a c-section, but these things can't always go exactly according to plan.  (or so I hear!)

Freaky Magic

Okay, so I am laying here trying to fall asleep, watching the Travel Channel.  It's some magic show with the creepy magician (not Criss Angel, the other one - name isn't coming to me at the moment).... anyway, I am freaked out now.

Here's what happened.  Creepy Magician was asking a girl on the street to think of any card.  In my head, I picked the 9 of Diamonds.  So he goes to the girl and looks at her hand and says, "that kinda looks like a 9 right there, and then there, that's a Diamond..." so I was like WTF, right?  That's pretty weird.

THEN...

The next girl he stopped on the street, he asked her to think of a number between 50 and 100 with two even numbers, which couldn't be the same number.  so I said to myself, 68.  He looks at the chick and says, "68"

I am a leeeeeetle creeped out right now.  How'd he do that?!

J Brand Jeans

Okay... these little babies are seriously adorable and I wish they fit my little baby foot.  They're also my mom's, never worn except to try on.  Not sure why she's getting rid of them, I think they're darling!  I tried them on and they seem to be comfy.

The Washington Heartbreakers

I am so sick of watching the Redskins lose.  SO SICK OF IT!  Today, we played the 11-0 Saints.  They're a fantastic team, and I actually like them and hope they go on to the Super Bowl - Drew Brees deserves it, their defense deserves it, hell, Gregg Williams deserves it!

The Redskins played them really well - the Saints didn't hold the lead at any point in game in fact.  Until it was over. Yes, they lost again.  Yes, it was heartbreaking, AGAIN.

I don't even know what to say anymore except that people are starting to get pissed off.  What the hell is wrong in Landover?  What is wrong in Ashburn?  It needs to be fixed, whatever it is.  This shouldn't happen once, let alone every single f'ing week.
